PF Solutions Invests in MBO T800.1 High Productivity Buckle Folder to Handle Growing Print Volumes
Miami, FL – April 26, 2023 — MBO America, a global leader in advanced post-press finishing equipment, announces that Miami-based commercial printer PF Solutions has bought their highly productive T800.1 buckle folder to handle higher print demand and ease production bottlenecks.
PF Solution’s business is growing, both in commercial work and direct mail, but the company was experiencing production issues at it tried to keep up with increased volumes. “We had to turn down a lot of business because the bindery couldn’t keep up with the press output,” said Albert Alvarez, President and CEO of PF Solutions. “We used to get bottlenecks in the bindery. The new MBO buckle folder will get rid of the bottlenecks and make our operation more efficient and productive.

With the high-volume T800.1 buckle folder, PF Solutions will double its productivity. The folder functions at blistering speeds of more than 13,000 sheets per hour, perfect for the high volumes of 16-page work the company produces for its global clients in the educational, healthcare, and travel industries.
“There is a lot of 40” business in our area and we’re growing,” said Alvarez, referring to the B1 printing format. “We also recently installed a Komori LS40 5-color with coater and the new folder is a perfect complement to it to ensure we continue to get more of that business.”
